Katharina Woll
Katharina Woll is a writer and director based in Berlin, Germany.
After finishing secondary school, she moved to Ecuador to work for a German documentary maker. This was followed by several projects in film and theatre both in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Germany.
In 2010 Katharina started her directing studies at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (German Film and Television Academy Berlin). During this time, she made several short films and documentaries.
In 2021, Katharina directed her first feature film which she wrote together with Florian Plumeyer. Alle Wollen Geliebt Werden (Everybody wants to be loved) premiered at the Munich Film Festival in 2022 and won the prize for best screenplay.
